Our business has been set up to provide a select range or classic and modern farm models, plus a range of associated items, such as DVDs, Prints and Posters, and we are always on the lookout for interesting additions to our range...
Currently, we supply models from a range of manufacturers, including Universal Hobbies, Britains and Siku as well as a selection of limited edition and one-off models.
We supply to clients across the globe, and seek to provide fast turn-around for your orders - we try to stock everything on the site, and send them out either the same or next day. For larger orders, or a small surcharge, we provide Next Business Day shipping in the UK, and tracked shipping internationally. The majority of our transactions are handled via Paypal (either through your own account, or if you don't have one - using a credit or debit card. We can now accept Card orders via telephone as well, or simply by sending a cheque to: Model Tractors, 17 Elm Trees, Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire, HP18 9DG (payee P. Smith).
Privacy Policy: We do not retain or store any information relating to your credit or debit card; when using the onsite checkout facility, the transaction is handled 100% via secure Paypal resources (we never see card details in this case). When payment is taken over the phone, we enter your card details directly into Paypal systems, which take care of auhorisation and validation, we do not keep any record of your card details either manually or online.
Through the normal operation of our business we acquire and retain information relating to your purchases, plus relevant contact information (such as delivery and email addresses) where provided we would also retain a record of your telephone number(s).
All data is held within secure premises, and within applications requiring access credentials (username/password).
We do not share your data with any other individual or organisation (with the exception of Paypal, who in most cases take this data at point of order).
Currently, we do not undertake any form of direct communications to our clients via any form of mail.
Delivery policy:
As mentioned above, whenever possible we aim to send your purchase on the same or subsequent business day (typically Monday to Saturday). Depending on the value of the shipment, we use 1st Class Mail in the UK, and Airmail elsewhere. We offer Next Business Day delivery for a small surcharge in the UK, and may send larger orders using this method as standard. Our P&P charges - we aim to provide a fair price for the Postage and Packing Service we offer - which is not just the postage fee. We aim to pack each item carefully and securely - using double layers of bubble-wrap, pallet wrap and "Fragile" Tape; We do not limit our delivery schedule to minimise cost - your purchase will be sent the same or next day.
Returns Policy:
Whilst we are sure you will be delighted with your purchase, we allow you 7 days grace to return the goods (unused in their original packaging and in a resalable condition) to us for a full refund. We are unable to cover the cost of return postage however. In order to ensure we accept your returns, please let us know in good time via info@model-tractors.co.uk or call us on +44 1844 201313.
NB: To receive the full refund, items must be sent back within 7 calendar days of your delivery. But please contact us as soon as possible to discuss this; many clients decide to take an alternative model instead of a refund. we always try to be accommodating!
Items not received:
Very occasionally items will be "lost in the post" - we always welcome an email confirming your purchases have arrived safe and well, but please let us know if there has been a delay. Typically items in the UK will arrive the day after posting, but we have to wait at least 15 days before we can "chase" Royal Mail. Outside the UK delivery times can vary from 1 or 2 days in Ireland, 4-5 days in Europe, to a couple of weeks further afield. In the event the item does not arrive (lost items do typically turn up eventually) we will arrange for replacements to be sent, or a refund if you prefer.
