DVD - Ford & Fordson on Film - Volume 3 - Power for Farming & Industry

Eighty years of Ford tractor history, shown in chronological order, are featured in this new series of DVD programmes.

Using original colour and black & white promotional and information films professionally made by the Ford Motor Company over a number of decades, this series brings the story of the Ford tractor back to life! In this programme we have no less than nine films all featuring the iconic Fordson Diesel Major, in one form or another, creating ‘Power for Agriculture and Industry’.

The 1956 World Ploughing Championships are covered, the first to be held in England.

Subjects ranging from Economic Milk Production to Industrial Tyneside are featured including four films dealing with County tractors, three about their Crawler and another featuring the Four Drive, in addition to the Muir-Hill shunting Tractor.

We finish off on a lighter note as we experience the humorous side of the Radio Major!

With machines from 1917 up to the 1990s, this series will feature something for everyone interested in Ford tractors and brings a completely new perspective to the machines that helped revolutionise farming the world over.
